Jobcast ("Jobcast," "we," "us") is a service operated by Casting Karma LLC. This policy explains what information we access when you install and use Jobcast on your sub-account, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Jobcast you agree to this policy.
Our customer is the agency and the trades/home-services business ("you") that installs Jobcast on a sub-account. Your customers ("end customers") are the homeowners and clients you serve. We process end-customer data on your behalf and at your direction.
When you install Jobcast, you grant it access via the platform's API to only the data needed to run the field-service workflow:
Jobcast does not request or access your payments, invoices, or pricing information in this version.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use end-customer data to advertise or to train third-party models.
We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run Jobcast: cloud hosting and database (our infrastructure provider), object storage (for job photos), and a transactional email provider (Resend) used for our own operational alerts — for example, telling us a sub-account has installed or uninstalled Jobcast, which includes the business name and the contact details your CRM lists for it. Each processes data only as needed to provide their service. Customer messaging is sent through your own CRM number — we do not use a separate SMS provider, and we never email your customers.
We retain account, job, and photo data while Jobcast is installed on your sub-account. When we receive the uninstall notice from your CRM, we immediately delete that sub-account's jobs, settings, authorization tokens, job photos and customer visit links. In any case we delete or anonymize the associated data within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal or accounting obligations. You can also ask us to delete it sooner at [email protected].
Your data is held in a managed database and object storage that are encrypted at rest by our hosting providers, and everything is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Jobcast's own screens and data endpoints require a signed session issued by your CRM, so only people signed in to your sub-account can reach your jobs and settings. We do not add a second layer of application-level encryption to stored tokens. The customer's visit page is deliberately public, protected by the unguessable link in the text message, so a homeowner can open it without an account. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.
Jobcast is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate we will notify you.
